I'm now the Group CSM, and have just returned from OIFII as the CSM for the 1/171st Avn Regt, GaARNG.

It's good to see Berka 24, Rick Belcastro back on the alumni list.

I was with the HHT, 3/17th Air Cav at Phu Loi in 1970-71. I just returned from a 3 week trip to Vietnam. I visited Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, Danang,Hoi An, Saigon, the Mekong Delta area, and went to the tunnels at Chu Chi. It was pretty much as it was 35 years but starting to change fast.

I was in Phu Loi with the 184th Nonstops(Nonstop 38) call sign Indian, from Jun 68 -Jan 69 then went to 210th Bn Hq as TOC Officer until Jun 69 then went back to Rucker as Flight Instructor. After 18 months went thru the OV-1 transition course then back to Nam. I was with the 225th Phantom Hawks in Tuy Hoa from Jan 71 till Sept 71 then became the HHC CO for the 268th CAB. then returned to Benning for the advanced course. After that went to Huachuca as instructor. Got out in Aug 73 thanks to Uncle Sugar. Went to Univ Of Tampa. Reenlisted in 74 and went to Ger for three years. Came back to Ft McClellan until retirement in 79. Now live in WA state.
